HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene)

Properties: A versatile plastic. Ideal for general use in low-cost items, e.g. point of sale, refrigeration and sanitary components. Stock colour materials up to 3 mm thickness available and can also be colour mathced. Can be high-definition formed with textures and label recesses and colour matched. Can also be chemically welded. Generally food grade. HIPS can be capped with Styrosan to give UV stability (can be conductive or resistive coated for use on transfer trays in the electrical industry). Can be used in most areas of industry. Sheet thicknesses from 0.5 to 10 mm

Working temperature: -10 deg C to 70 deg C
