Using A V Engineering's most up to date 5 axis software and machining centres with a capacity of 2000mm x 2000 mm x 710mm, pattern making is possible for many processes other than Thermo Forming. We've in fact made patterns for GRP mouldings and for Sand casting processes. Our largest pattern for GRP to date is a whopping 4000mm x 2000mm x 500mm, which was machined in 2 halves with locating dowels.

These tools can be produced from polyurethane or epoxy modelling board of any density. It's also possible to carry out alterations to patterns after trials with A V Engineering's machining location technique.
